EINDOS-EB855
is a highly complex ETX board with the functionalities of a embeded
motherboard.
It is equipped with a Pentium M 600MHz, 1.0GHz,1.4GHz,1.6GH z and 1.8 GHz CPU, 256Mbytes up to
1GBytes SoDIMM200, PCI and ISA bus,and additional
peripheral devices,such as 2 serial interfaces,one printer interface,
floppy, LAN, audio input and output, four USB 2.0 interfaces,keyboard/mouse,
CRT, TFT
(18/24/36/48 bit LVDS) and two IDE connections. |

The
power supply of the hardware module is effected over the ETX header
strip. Only 5 volt ¡À 5% of voltage are necessary for the operation of
this hardware module. In order to use the ATX functionalities, an
additional suspend voltage of 5 volt ¡À 5% must be attached.
The 3,3 volt lying close to the ETX connector X1 are generated on the
board and can be loaded with maximum 500 mA. Do not in any case connect
the 3,3 volt of the ETX connector with an external 3,3 volt power supply
unit.

Intel Pentium M processor with 855GM/GME Chipset are employed in a BGA2
package. The use of this package, which allows a maximum DIE temperature
of 100 degree Celsius, accords highest possible security even in rough
applications.
The processors include a second level cache. The size depends on the
chosen processor and varies from 128KByte and 1MByte.
Further more the processors dispose of features known from the desktop
family of Pentium M classes such as MMX2,
serial number, loadable microcode etc.
