EINDOS-PB635
is a highly complex PC/104 board with the functionalities of a embeded
Module.
It is equipped with Pentium III or Celeron 300 to 700 MHz CPU, 128Mbytes up to
512MBytes SoDIMM144, PCI and ISA bus,and additional
peripheral devices, such as 2 serial interfaces, one printer interface,
floppy, LAN, , 2 USB
interfaces, keyboard/mouse,
CRT, TFT
and two IDE connections. |

The
power supply of the hardware module is effected either over the PC104
header strip or via a power connector which is provided for the power
supply.Only 5 volt ¡À 5% of voltage are necessary for the operation of
this hardware module. The tensions which are additionally indicated on
the power connector are not required on the hardware module. These
tensions are provided through the PC104 bus for possibly existing PC104
devices.

The
CPU is Intel Celeron 300ULP, 400 Celeron, PIII 400MHz or PIII
700MHz processor. An
Intel Pentium III or a Celeron III processor are employed in a BGA2
package. The use of this package, which allows a maximum DIE temperature
of 100 degree Celsius, accords highest possible security even in rough
applications.
The processors include a second level cache. The size depends on the
chosen processor and varies between 128KByte and 512KByte.
Further more the processors dispose of features known from the desktop
family of Pentium III respective Celeron III classes such as MMX2,
serial number, loadable microcode etc.

typically employed in notebooks. Because of the high complexity it is
possible, that for mechanical reasons not all kinds of memory modules
can be employed. Please ask your distributor for recommended memory
modules.with SoDIMM modules that are available at present, a memory
extension of 128MB up to 512MB is possible. All
timing parameters for the different makes and stages of extension are
automatically set through the BIOS. |
