The Stack/104/PC-DK offers possibility to evaluate, debug and test PC/104 CPU module produced by many PC/104 suppliers. The Stack/104/PC-DK based on dual 16 bit PC/104 module socket placed side-by-side, Two standard PCI slot, one PC/104plus and one ISA slot. The DK make conversion from all PC/104 pinout interface to standard PC compatible interface style connectors, Include: Keyboard/Mouse, four Serial port , LPT, VGA, Molex Floppy, 44pin 2.00mm Pitch IDE, two USB, LAN, RS485, Battery, Video Input and so on. The DK also be designed three way power input structure, Include: ATX Standard Power supply connector, D-Sub Input (Like HDD, CD-ROM Power Connector), Line by Line input with phoenix socket. There are four LED indicate the correct input Power status. onboard offer three Power On/Off switch (one can be used in remote Switch On/Off),Reset Key, Buzzer and IrDA (Option). There is one DC/DC converter onboard can provide –30 to 0V voltage generation special fit for STN/Plasma or any Flat Panel Display which need Negative Voltage. LAN RJ-45 for Ethernet Connection

Especially, The DK not only can be used with standard  CPU board, but also can be operated with interface stackthrough. By means, some application need to modify some PC/104 onboard Interface’s connectors to stackthrough style for Component-like Applications, The modules' self-stacking bus can be useful for installing multiple modules in one location. when you used the PC/104 CPU module like this way, some interface’s connectors have to be changed to stackthrough ,such as: Serial Port, LPT, VGA, Keyboard/Mouse. After you modified those board connectors, you can find it is very difficulty to debug or test PC/104 CPU module, Because all pinout signal of those connectors have already been changed to vertical downward, you can not use standard cables at all. For those kind of application, The Stack/104/PC-DK have been designed with interface stackthrough socket onboard,  Just plug-in your PC/104 CPU module with interface stackthrough connectors into socket on the DK, then connect your Standard Peripherals (Such as: Keyboard, VGA, LPT , Serial Port) to the standard Computer interface on the side (Burden) of the baseboard, you don’t need to connect any cable, then you can operate your PC/104 systems similar as standard Desktop Standard Computer.The DK can be operated in combination Style, That means, You can mixed with PC/104, PC104+,ISA or PCI board in one system, That is very flexible to build,test and debug one mixed system (you can use any BUS based CPU with any BUS I/O or any BUS peripherals together.
