The PC/104 EINDOS520-SASP is a highly integrated industrial embedded CPU board in PC/104 form factor. It is designed and based on AMD ELAN SC520 CPU single board computer. It can be used in a Extended operating environment (-45C to +85C) without the necessity of a fan or heat sink. It include: 100MHz ELAN SC520 Processor, 2Mbyte Flash, 2Mbyte SRAM with battery backup, RTC and CMOS with battery backup, programmable watchdog, PC/104 interface, 2 serial ports (configurable as RS232/422/485 with 115200 baud)), 8 digital Inputs, 8 digital outputs, 8 analog outputs, 3 channel Timer/Counter interfaces, 1 user LED, Speaker, 10Mbit Ethernet and a real time clock.  Timer/Counter: 82C54(Three Channels)

Integration of EINDOS520-SASP into a system is facilitated by the fact of offering standard 2.54mm connectors for all interfaces. Speaker:

The EINDOS520-SASP is equipped with a " Low Level initialisation Code" (LLIC). The LLIC resists in the upper 64KB of the onboard flash memory. The LLIC performs a minimal system initialisation and then prepare for new application code download or immediately run the pre-loaded application code.  Power Normal: +5V:   400mA

Real time clock:
The LLIC contains a download utility (DU) for an easy user application code download into onboard flash. The DU is activated by the user if at power up the DA-Jumper (J10) is set or pin 6 of the serial connector(J8) is connected to ground. Then the LLIC automatically downloads the user application code over serial port COM1 and write the application code image to a predefined address in the onboard flash. After a successful application download into the onboard flash, The LLIC stops the system, Then the system can be shut down (turn power off ), Now on the next power up, the system starts the new downloaded application. A lot of software and operating system can be used with EINDOS520-SASP, for example: Paradigm software. User LED: 1
